As part of the Vietnam Arbitration and Mediation Week 2026 (VAW 2026), the event titled “Launch Ceremony of the VIAC FinTech & Digital Economy Dispute Resolution Expert Panel and Vietnam International Financial Centre (VIFC) 2026 Seminar” was held on 29 May 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City. EPLegal participated in the event with a senior team of experts, including Dr. Nguyen Trung Nam – Speaker (Founding Partner of EPLegal, Deputy Director of VMC, and VIAC Arbitrator) and Mr. Phan Trong Dat – Moderator (Partner of EPLegal), who contributed valuable legal insights and practical perspectives to the discussions.

Drawing on his extensive experience in international legal advisory and dispute resolution, Dr. Nguyen Trung Nam highlighted the important role of the specialized VIFC Court in supporting arbitration proceedings and the enforcement of international arbitral awards. His presentation addressed key issues such as the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards, the application of interim measures, and the implementation of proceedings in an electronic environment. He also shared his views on how the VIFC could strengthen Vietnam’s position as a regional dispute resolution hub while enhancing the country’s attractiveness to foreign investors.
